We are not troubled. We believe in God!
God’s house has many dwelling places.
Christ himself has gone to prepare a place for us.
We will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
For us, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
Let us worship God, made known to us in Christ Jesus.
As we PAUSE, we long for smiles and hugs.
As we PAUSE, those in the essential realm are overwhelmed.
Yet in this moment we pause to worship, to be community and to invite God in. We pause for worship, not to stay where we are but to find meaning in where we are at.
We pause to worship God in our homes, in our lives and through technology today. We pause because we recognize that God abounds in this time and in our lives.
Let us worship the Holy that does not abandon us. Amen.

You deliver all who turn to you in moments of challenge or uncertainty.
We pray for those who feel lost or alone,
those who live with great anxiety and doubt
and any who are fearful of what tomorrow might bring.
God of the Way, open the eyes of those who are struggling
so that they can see that there is a new way filled with hope for them,
with the promise of rest and renewal.
In Christ, we know you as the truth. You reveal the falsehood and lies that ensnare us in these confusing times.
We pray for those who have put their faith in false hope and flimsy promises,
those who are deceived by the fabrications of the power hungry
and any who are misled by distortions and twisted claims that circulate each day:
God of the Truth, reveal the shallowness of things that distract or mislead us and empower us to see what is true.
In Christ, we know you as the life.
You promise to overcome all that is rooted in death and decay by your resurrecting power.
We pray for people who struggle with illness or grief
and all who live with deep sadness, depression or hopelessness.
We pray for those for whom each day seems like a chore,
and those for whom opportunities for abundant life are cut down by acts of discrimination or the loss of what seemed like security just weeks ago.
God of all Life and each life, heal those who are suffering and make your justice known in our land.

These gifts include money, time, talent and energy. We lift up all the members of this congregation that continue to "be" the church.
That offer community. That are continuing to do essential work. That are caring for the properties. That are maintaining a worship service. That are working from home.
As this congregation continues to do your work within the world and community work within these gifts so that we may come to truly offer your Glory in this world. Amen.

Call to Worship

As we PAUSE, we struggle with isolation.As we PAUSE, we long for smiles and hugs.
As we PAUSE, those in the essential realm are overwhelmed.

PRAYER OF RECONCILIATION
Holy God, continue to give us wisdom even when we think we know what is best. Continue to work in our decisions as to what is next. During this PAUSE, we have been able to see many of our flaws. Work within us and through us so that our eyes remain open, our hearts willing and our feet seeking for change. As we lift up to you our silent reflections offer us your Divine Wisdom. (Please take time for silent reflection.)ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Risen Lord, we know that you have made us worthy, help us now to accept that we are worthy and follow your voice. This day we remember that our sins are forgiven! Amen.FIRST READING: Acts 7:55-60

SECOND READING: John 21:1-14
1After these things Jesus showed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias; and he showed himself in this way. 2Gathered there together were Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples. 3Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We will go with you.” They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. 4Just after daybreak, Jesus stood on the beach; but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5Jesus said to them, “Children, you have no fish, have you?” They answered him, “No.” 6He said to them, “Cast the net to the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in because there were so many fish. 7That disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on some clothes, for he was naked, and jumped into the sea. 8But the other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, only about a hundred yards off. 9When they had gone ashore, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish on it, and bread. 10Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish that you have just caught.” 11So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, a hundred fifty-three of them; and though there were so many, the net was not torn. 12Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?” because they knew it was the Lord. 13Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish. 14This was now the third time that Jesus appeared to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.MESSAGE
PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE
God of power and might, who raised Jesus from the dead,you free our hearts from trouble
and prepare a place of joy for all your children.
